Machine Operator – Plastic Recycling

Function
As a Recycling Department employee, you will supervise one production line and transport materials using a forklift. You are expected to have the ability to troubleshoot and prevent minor malfunctions, so a technical aptitude is an additional advantage. You will work in a 5-shift system (during the first two weeks, you may start on a 3-shift schedule). The work schedule consists of 6 working days followed by 4 days off.
Requirements
- Technical skills and abilities;
- Experience as a machine operator;
- Willingness to work in a shift system;
- Ability to communicate in English and/or Dutch;
- Own accommodation and transportation;
- VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one;
- Forklift license and experience operating forklifts.
Offer
- Salary: €16.65 gross/hour + 30% shift allowance = €20.89 gross/hour;
- Work in a 5-shift system: 6 consecutive working days followed by 4 days off;
- Travel allowance: €0.23 per km after the first 6 km – up to a maximum of 30 km;
- Vacation: 25 days per year (including ADV days).
