This Privacy Statement applies to all services provided by EU-Roots Uitzendbureau B.V. (hereinafter EU-Roots). You should be aware that EU-Roots is not responsible for the privacy policies of other sites and sources.

EU-Roots respects the privacy of all visitors to its websites and ensures that the personal information you provide to us is treated confidentially. EU-Roots acts in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act. By using EU-Roots services or visiting EU-Roots websites, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Statement.

Use of our services

When you register through our website and/or sign up for one of our services, we ask you to provide personal data. This data is used to perform these services. The data will be stored on Eu-Roots’ own secure servers or those of a third party.

In the course of providing services, EU-Roots records information in its database for the use of EU-Roots and third parties mentioned in this Privacy Statement.

We record or may record the following data:

  • (First) name, address, place of residence, gender, date of birth, BSN number, resume, diplomas, personnel documents, copy ID proof, passport photo, marital status, e-mail address, nationality, information on training;
  • Availability, work history and leave data;
  • Bank account number;
  • VAR statements;
  • Other matters to the extent required by law or to the extent authorized by you.
    Furthermore, data are generated automatically. What data that is you read further on in this Privacy Statement.

We record data to:

  • Bringing together labor market supply and demand;
  • Be able to provide service (e.g., if you forgot your password to enter your hours)
    Record hours worked;
  • To send the electronic version of the EU-Roots newsletter;
  • Notify Users of interesting offers of EU-Roots products and services and the products and services of other EU-Roots business units and third parties mentioned in this Privacy Statement;
  • Process payments;
  • Prepare anonymized statistical data for advertisers;
  • Be able to conduct pre-employment screenings for our clients.

Access to data other than by disclosure:

EU-Roots uses automatically generated data for statistical purposes as well as for security and improvement of EU-Roots. This data is provided to third parties to the extent that it is fully anonymized and not traceable to you.

EU-Roots will not, except in the cases mentioned here in this Privacy Statement, provide your personal data to third parties without your prior consent.

Special personal data

EU-Roots records special personal data (as referred to in the Data Protection Act) only with your consent. If you upload your passport photo (this is voluntary), you consent to its storage and publication. You can remove your passport photo from your profile at any time. The same applies to the voluntary video application (whether or not via whats app). These images will be deleted as soon as possible after the application.

When you first want to work 3 times without a VAT number, we ask for your BSN number. This BSN number is needed to complete an IB-47 document for the Tax Office. In order to form a good IB-47 document, we record the following data:

– name
– initials
– postal code
– house number
– date of birth
– citizen service number
– amount paid including expense allowances

This Privacy Statement is tailored to the use of and features on this site. Any updates and/or changes to this site may result in changes to our Privacy Statement. It is therefore advisable to consult this Privacy Statement regularly.

Choices for personal data

We offer all visitors the opportunity to review, change or delete any personal information currently provided to us. We will delete the information if and to the extent permitted by law to do so.

Retention period

We do not keep your data longer than necessary. In doing so, we consider the purpose for which you have provided your data. We also take legal retention periods into account. The retention periods we use are listed in our retention period policy. Upon expiry of the retention periods, your data will be automatically deleted or made anonymous.
