All-round Sales Assistant

Together with your colleagues, you will ensure a tidy, well-organised store and a pleasant shopping experience, so that customers leave feeling satisfied.
As an All-round Sales Assistant, you will be versatile. You will help customers on the shop floor, restock shelves, check stock levels and assist at the till or in the warehouse where necessary. Your efforts will actively contribute to a welcoming atmosphere and the smooth running of daily operations in the shop.
Function
During your working day, you will be helping customers, restocking shelves, keeping the shop tidy and assisting with cashier duties. No two days are the same and you will be working with a friendly and helpful team.
Helping customers with questions, giving advice and ensuring an optimal customer experience;
Restocking shelves and checking stock levels;
Identifying empty shelves and reordering products in a timely manner;
Assisting with cashier duties and processing payments;
Ensuring a neat and tidy shop presentation;
Assisting in the warehouse with unloading and processing goods;
Complying with safety and hygiene regulations.
Requirements

Language level: Good command of Dutch
Experience level: Junior, experience is an advantage
Special skills: Affinity with retail and customer contact, customer-friendly and good communication skills
Certificates or other requirements: Minimum VMBO working and thinking level. Flexible availability, including late-night shopping evenings and Saturdays.
Offer
Gross hourly wage from €14.77 (21+)
Youth wage negotiable
Working hours: 08:30 – 18:00 + occasional late-night shopping evenings
Mileage allowance €0.23 per km
