Machine Operator
Organization
Our client is one of Europe’s leading companies in the field of sustainable waste management. The company operates at the intersection of recycling, technology, and the environment, with a focus on keeping waste out of landfills, but instead on reprocessing and circulating waste as secondary raw materials.
Function
As a machine operator, you follow the production line. You work in 2 shifts and every Saturday your tasks include: visual inspection of the installation for safety, monitoring the process and adjusting the installation using the control software, loading the material into the bunker with a telescopic loader, replacing and transferring big-bags with a forklift to the storage area, emptying the unloading bins with a forklift, keeping the installation and the hall clean, solving minor problems such as blocked material, etc., assisting the technician during malfunctions, performing weekly maintenance on the factory, such as changing water, cleaning motors, and so on, filling out production lists with material weighing and malfunction notes.
Requirements
- Technical flair and skill;
- Experience as a machine operator;
- Availability to work shifts;
- Communication in English and/or Dutch;
- VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one;
- Forklift certificate and experience with forklifts;
- Telescopic loader certificate – chance for higher pay.
Offer
- Salary € 19.63 gross/hour + 8.75% shift allowance
- 2 shifts: 5:00 – 15:00, 8 hours at 100% + 1 hour at 130% (1 hour break – unpaid);
15:00 – 01:00 8 hours at 100% + 1 hour at 130% (1 hour break – unpaid); - Vacation days: 25 per year (with ADV);
- Travel expenses: € 0.23 after 6 km up to a maximum of 35 km one way;
- Opportunity to learn Dutch – 2 hours/week before or after work.
